Understanding Real-Time Notification Segments

Alerts in PerfAgents Uncloud are generated to notify users of any errors or issues that occur during monitoring. The Alerts section in the sidebar provides access to the following options:

  1. Dashboard: This section includes the following elements:

  • Total alerts: The overall count of alerts raised so far.

  • Alert coverage: Breakdown of alerts based on monitoring type, categorized as Ping Single, Ping Multiple, API Single, API Multiple, Sequence Single, and Sequence Multiple. 'Single' indicates monitoring with one endpoint, while 'Multiple' indicates multiple endpoints have been added.

  • Top incidents: A variety of incidents encountered during monitoring.

  • Alert by monitoring type: The total number of alerts listed under each corresponding monitoring category.

Users can filter the displayed data by selecting options such as "Past 24 hours," "Past 7 days," or "Throughout".

  1. Reports: This section covers various aspects of reports, including:

    • Name: The name of the report.

    • Type: The type of report, such as Global, Ping, API, or Sequence.

    • Category: The category of the report chosen by the tenant, like Basic, Basic with compressed attachment, Detailed, or Detailed with compressed attachment.

    • Frequency: Describing how often the reports should be generated. Options include On-demand (generated whenever the tenant wishes by clicking on 'Generate'), and Recurring (scheduled by choosing the type and time).

    • Integration: The integration tool chosen by the tenant.

    • The Meatballs menu offers options for Edit, Generate, and Delete.

Clicking on 'Create Report' leads the tenant to a page where they can provide the report's name, choose the report type and category, and set the desired frequency. Additionally, the tenant is provided with integration platform options to facilitate report sharing.

  1. Integrations: In this section, there are multiple integration platforms available for tenants to choose from. These integrations are categorized into messaging, ticketing, cloud, CI/CD, monitoring, others, and webhook. To find out more about integrations, click here.
